Scarface f/ Nas & Tanya Herron- “In Between Us (Alternate Mix)

unreleased, 2002

This might be one of those things that everybody on the internet already has, but here’s an alternate take on one of the stronger tracks off The Fix. The N-word spits an entirely different verse and it’s another strong one from the lil homie. It actually seems a little more in line with the songs theme than the version that ended up on the album. Face’s remains the same, vicious as ever.

Um… isn’t part of this verse the same as the second verse of Ether?

  2. “The N-word”

    “Nas” is an N-Word, no?

Yeah, Nas’ verse is 75% straight off Ether. Not very new in that respect.

Sorry guys, I’m still trying to forget “Ether” and its virulent homophobia.

Wait he didn’t say all that shit about period blood on “Ether”, did he? They share like two bars.

Maybe four. And just a silly nitpick, but the Supreme Court doesn’t (and can’t) issue subpoenas.
