E-40 f/ B-Legit & Laroo – “Showin’ Out“
from Sick Wid It Umbrella 2 – The Machine (Sick Wid It, 2008)
Not sure who produced this (Droop-E, I assume?) but they are seriously abusing their synths in the best possible way. Huge shout to the Umbrella, home of the only production team who’s “futuristic” productions still sound like some extra terrestrial mind bending business. Even the mighty Timbaland sounds dated in comparison.
The Machine is in stores today, as is this new Doey Rock compilation 916 Unified.

Got the full CD. Shit is bananas. Yeah – like the first one – but ain’t no half-steppin’ this time. Droop-E’s done pretty much the whole release – boy (man?) is a beast. The Turf Talk and 40 joint is ridiculous.

Some pretty good tracks on this one but I’d have to recommend the 1st one to people.

Shit is dope, but it ain’t Super Sick Wid It, the single from the first joint. I bet the whole comp is banging, though.
