I haven’t had a chance to check Del’s Eleventh Hour yet, and I’m not so sure that I ever will, because I fear for him. But I was pretty excited about these old school demos that are download only bonuses at Hip Hop Site (I’m honestly a little shocked to find out that site exists, though digital distribution probably makes it a lot harder for them to not send your order). Predating his I Wish My Brother George, the Sir Jinx produced cuts find a prepubescent Del spitting some goofy business. I’m not sure who the kid is on “Word To The Wise.” For the sake of conversation, let’s just say it’s a young… I don’t know… Opio?
I’ve never heard a bad rap song with the word “duck” in the title.
If you’re interested in hearing the rest you can purchase the new album at HHS, where it’s four dollars more expensive than it is on Amazon. That’s a small price to pay for real Hip Hop, yo.
