K-Rino’s Rap Tip Of The Week
K-Rino – “Choose Ya Weapon“
from Stories From The Black Book (Electric City, 1993)
K-Rino – “Caught In The Cross (Remix)“
from K-Rino CD (Ichiban, 1998)
Houston OG K-Rino (if you don’t know…) has been running this series for a few weeks. Some of the tips are pretty simple and probably obvious, but sometimes the obvious needs to be said. Hopefully some aspiring rapper somewhere (probably Germany) is running with them. It could make a decent substitute mentor program for the social networking generation.
Tip #4, above, features guest host Z-Ro speaking on work ethic. Tips 1-3 after the jump

Z-Ro forgot to mention that even with all that work ethic your career still might go nowhere; look at Z-Ro (who’s one of my favorite rappers but still).

I think Z-Ro does alright. He has a very dedicated fanbase AND a Crently.
Do you have a Crently, Tray?

Z-Ro does get his hustle on but he doesn’t branch out to the west much. There is money out here mayne! $$$

I have no idea what a Crently is but I’m sure I can afford one.
