Ebay Vinyl Auctions

Doing some rap vinyl spring cleaning over at ebay. I don’t usually plug my auctions but this week there’s a bunch of joints we’ve talked about here like Suga Free/Pure Pimp, Pentouse Players Clique, MUCH Posse, Fat Rodney, MC J’Ro’J, 3rd World Assassins, U Know Who and RCU. Plus a ton of obscure indie stuff that people sweat on ebay and classic LPs from Too Short, OC, Pete Rock, The Coup, Master P, EPMD etc. And THE MUHAMMED ALI MIMIC RAP. Audio clips on just about everything. (Tip: Coppertone Conspiracy might be my favorite record in the batch, total slept on Texas banger that I am going to write about in detail more over here one day soon.)
Now that the mind numbing task of listing this stuff is behind me I can focus on the equally mind numbing and long needed site redesign. And with it will come new content. I promise.

Dude, come off it–you always plug your auctions, as well you should.

The last time I plugged my auctions here was June 09. I run them roughly every other month.

Yo Noz, just had a blink at your ebay stuff and MAAAAAN theres some incredible stuff in there. Two things :
1.
The Divshare Player in the MDDL FNGZ joint is messed up i think. There’s a nice tune in it, but definitly no Manjah Boys.
2.
Is the Version of “No Love” on there censored or not ? I have the album on CD, but that song is edited on there and it’s a shame, because it is one of, if not THE nicest song on there.
3.
If it’s not edited, could you Please Rip it, before you sell it ? I no it’s trouble, but …
You propably have it anyway, but i would trade a rip of “the points” from the OST Panther with Big Mike, Bone THugs, Buckshot, Busta Rhymes, Coolio, Digable Planets, Helter Skelter, Ill Al Scratch, Jamal, MENACE CLAN, The Notorious B.I.G. and Redman. Produced by Dj U-Neek and Easy Mo Bee. Have the 12″ here.

but shit, has anybody heard that “The Bottom” joint of the BG and Boosie tape? How the fuck does a song that goes that fucking hard get swept under the rug in a shitty ass week when most conversations have to do with some Toronto fag’s debut album that’s being called rap by people who don’t know any better.

just because a song goes hard doesnt mean it’s profound and worth picking apart.
your club joints and your head bobbin’ “let’s analyze every line” joints have their own place.
how do you compare pete rock & cl smooth’s “t.r.o.y.” and ice mike’s “just doing my thang” or pnc & jub “nola block party” or joe blakk’s ” it aint where ya from”? you can’t. theyre apples and oranges.
actually one can argue joe blakk’s song was one of the most socially conscious songs to be produced in the south in the 90s… though i’ve heard very few people in nola decipher or take his message to heart.
