Official UGK Tracklisting

Another quick grain of salt news update about a near mythical Texas rap release. The ten month delayed double UGK reunion record is set to drop 8/7/07. Maybe. Here is the current tracklisting, not dramatically different than the one I posted last year . But there are a few minor changes and most of them appear to be for the better – “Like That” got a much needed remix, the unbearable Swizz Beats track “Hit The Block” is gone completely and Scarface seems to now be rapping on “Still Riding Dirty” (which he also produced). There are also a few tracks we haven’t heard of yet- “Swishas & Dosha,” “Gravy,” both of which are devoid of guests, which can only be a good sign and “Grind Hard,” a somewhat underwhelming cut that can be heard on TOE’s myspace sans Bun B.

Mostly I just want to see this released in any form.

I think we all need to come to terms with the fact that this album is never coming out.

  2. Cocaine featuring Rick Ross. yes, it is.

  3. alafino

Yall need to check out the new Scratch mag. They go through all the samples/production on the LP. Surprised that Pimp C was behind the boards.

  4. noz

“Surprised that Pimp C was behind the boards. ”

Why? He’s been behind the boards on every UGK album.

  5. I’ll be curious to see what exactly they do to “Like That” to make a remix. I hope it’s throw in a couple more bars on those verses to space out that whack ass chorus.

I kinda liked “Hit the Block,” though.

  6. yeah, i am a fellow hit the block advocate.

  7. Can’t believe they’re leaving “Top Drop Dyne” off. Great track.

  8. hitman

can’t wait for the album..Pimp C is a dope producer. Scarface is also nice on the beats. i heard that Marley track, its the same one found on K-Def’s last album.

  9. BR

this tracklist looks pretty dope, I’m excited to hear this now

  10. jimmy starburst

Dizzee Rascal – Where’s Da Gs? (ft. UGK)

  11. Stevie Lee

I want to hear that Life Is 2009 track…..anyone know why it’s called 2009? The CD probably still won’t be out by then….

  12. thatwhitedude

lmao at dude surprised pimp c is behind the boards… i’m more interested in if there is a chopped and screwed version comin out, ugk is one of the best groups to listen to C&S imo, even the shitty jive C&S compilation jams, and dj screw’s versions of ugk songs are some of the best rap songs i’ve ever heard

  13. hit the block was hot

  14. “we focused on cheese so dont go provokin us please
fuck around go loc at ya squeeze and leave niggas smoked cuz we g’s”

  15. me

what the fuck is this shit? you bunch of cocaine zombies have no braincells and fuck up the lives of us all. eat your fucking AK you gansta pricks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Shit im excited than a motha fucka to hear this one… Same day its released imma cop the shit no doubt.

  17. What it is....

Can’t wait to get my hands on this one… Will burn it though… Pimp is one of the most talented in the game, but Bun B is an asshole in person (widely known down south)… So I can’t give them my cash on the strength of that. But I will encourage you all to support these cats… Who was that saying they were surprised to see Chad Butler behind the boards? That man is a musician… He just ain’t a regular rapper, all day writing lyrics and shit… That man plays instruments… He played drums on some classic albums (i.e. Sleepy Browns first album), not to mention his own… Been tellin people for years he makes the group… 3 Buns could never = one Pimp

^Pimp is one of the most talented in the game, but Bun B is an asshole in person

I think you meant it the other way around.
