aside from the last song there’s nothing really new here, but it’s a good compilation of 2 lettaz strongest verses and should actually prove to those that still think huntsville is all about block beataz that there are actually some strong LYRICISTS comin up there

Only 1 reply? Did the G-Side hype die down that quickly?
Anyway, haven’t listened to this yet but 2 Lettaz is a pretty dope MC.

In fact I never caught up with block beataz and still have the g-side record lying waiting to be heard. Recently grabbed a stack of Huntsville tapes and productions in panic due to MAYNHOLUP’s megaendorsement of block beataz while he was high one night, and haven’t listened to that yet either.
And now here is a new tape.
So much music around u know.

Co-sign Walkmaster’s comment — I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I didn’t even realize how strong a rapper ST is until I heard all these verses back-to-back.

That’s just it. Alabama Got Something to say. So many people are intrigued by the drum so to speak. We are strong supporters of production but the world play is very important. ST is one of many mc’s outta Huntsville that I woud put next to anybody and they would hold their own. What people seem to always ask is what influenced an Alabama Artist instead of saying what we have influenced. We influenced the Commodores with Lionel Richie (Tuskegee). Over in Muscle Shoals hit songs for Cher, Etta James, Bobby Womack, Sam Cook were recorded at studios such as FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound.Memphis is the home of blues but the father of blues is WC Handy who was born in Florence, who became the first Band Director at Alabama A&M University, then moved to Memphis. So the sound he dropped off on Beale Street was the spirit of Alabama.
