is it alright that i learned about this guy from last.fm

  2. david Says:

i think fight music is one musical genre white people can credit themselves on…these guys look like a bunch of pussies compared to a Slayer mosh pit….that being said this is a nice song.

  3. noz Says:

I don’t know, having been in a fair share of both black and white pits, I think it’s a pretty even toss up.

What’s notable about this to me (and probably why it looks pussy to you) is how young everyone is. Do white teens still mosh, or are they too worried about messing up their bangs? What sort of new music would a white teenager mosh to in 2009?

  4. noz Says:

I saw Lightning Bolt a few years ago and they played music that was distinctly moshable but nobody was really moshing.

  5. Tray Says:

I have never been in a pit or anything like a pit but I would be happy to see crunk come back, or whatever one would call what Crime Mob did come back. Or whatever you would call ‘Down for My Niggas’ (proto-crunk?) come back.

  6. MF POON Says:

noz thas crazy that ur down with lightning bolt, i thot my metal head homies were the only people i wud ever see to listen 2 that and listen to all this rap

as far as mosh comparison, i dunno, at one spot wer they got metal bands moshing wer i live the moshers themselves get mad if u start fighting with people, whereas at sum rap shows i been at wen a fight start hla people start fighting too until security break it up

this song is aite, down wit people rapping more about killing, slanging, and what have u

  7. noz Says:

“noz thas crazy that ur down with lightning bolt”

Well they were opening for another band I wanted to see. Seemed cool enough though.

  8. MF POON Says:

i’d hate 2 appear 2 be the drake rider of this site but have you heard this track?

    http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/audio/id.9042/title.birdman-f-drake-more-milli

    its dope, all things aside

  9. reko Says:

Heard wacka flocka on XM the other night being interviewed and I laughed more than once..dudes straight real

  10. BENJY Says:

“down wit people rapping more about killing, slanging, and what have u”

    my man

  11. SergDun Says:

it’s been my experience that rap pits are the ones were people get mad at you for hitting them. Metal pits they are happy to hit you, punk kids do more dancing than hitting. Rap shows are also where girls get all ass hurt if you step on their toes

  12. Pabelow Says:

    Flocka is that nigga.

  13. boi-dan Says:

Did you get this video from the post I did at WordofSouth?

If only I could write a thesis about the similarities of Crunk & Most Pit music

I heard a lot of these mosh pits are thrown in the Midwest, I always wanted to go to one, but since 07′ I heard they’ve taken on a Arryan Nation/White Power theme.

  14. reko Says:

I punched someone in the face at a Jedi mind tricks show for “moshing” me..that shit is retarded to me and I grew up going to hardcore shows in DC..never a good look IMO

  15. reko Says:

It was a Jedi min trims show though..

  16. Clams Says:

How many girls were at that party

  17. Hørdkore Says:

I can’t get used to that pussy group mentality shit, 3 people throwing blows at one dude at the same time.

But in the middle where everyone is holding each other and doing headbanging looks really cool, nice aggressive atmosphere without people going overboard trying to be hardbody or whatever the fuck you call it over there.

The song is the ish though, bumping it everytime we drinking over here.

  18. Hørdkore Says:

and that wall of death shit is the gayest shit I’ve ever seen

  19. Davey Boy Smith Says:

    @ Noz

There was a couple of pretty fruitful bonecrushing mosh pits at both Necro gigs in London a couple of years back… Can’t imagine many other rappers inciting such male to male bumping and grinding actually. That new (White Slavery 2) video is putrid by the way. Can’t believe I used to feel that crap in my more infantile days…

  20. Davey Boy Smith Says:

I’m expecting great things from WFF by the way.

  21. noz Says:

    “Necro gigs in London”

    :-(

  22. Davey Boy Smith Says:

    Grim, eh?

  23. Daniel Says:

    NOZ

There’s tons of shit people mosh to these days; thrash, d-beat punk shit, old uk punk, death metal stuff. Where it get super wack is hardcore and metalcore stuff. Its a bunch of jocks trying to act hard or like you said, dont want to mess their bangs up–heh.

This looks cool, like it’s a good time. United under the commonality of feeling this shit, but the fighting stuff is some pre-pubescent shit. Just mobbin’ on fools for the sake of it is weak.

Not sure that makes sense. I like the song, like the vibe minus the fighting.

    peace

  24. david Says:

well white fight music has more time to mature then black fight music…..maybe thats why…and no, its not cuz theyre young its cuz they look like pussies….there will allways be new hardcore thrah, punk, and metal to mosh to….but there wont allways be good hiphop to uprock to….kids are just lost these days….o well

  25. bitedowntrick Says:

Does his all of his music sound like this?

I need a d/l link to this guys stuff..

  26. redd Says:

this is some usual shit in atlanta…i used to see it at club primetime pretty often.

  27. Kang Munir Says:

In rap “pits” you can’t hit anybody unless you want to fight them. Thats why they aren’t as wild as rock ones because that would lead to brawls and possibly shootings. At the rock ones I’ve been in, people hit and push people they don’t know without further problem. That would garauntee a fight at a rap moshpit. At least the places I’ve been in Texas and Atlanta. The people that are getting crunk together in the vid are more than likely from the same neighborhood. Pit is not the proper word for the rap version it’s just getting crunk.

  28. Tom money Says:

There is plenty of heavy bands both popular and underground for white teenagers to mosh in 2009.

examples: Converge, The Devil Wears Prada, Parkway Drive, etc.

  29. Thermos Says:

I think it’s important that this DJ is playing the track at something like +6% speed. The CDQ version of this song is too slow to me. Too goofy to be menacing at that speed. A little faster and it becomes perfect hood-tastic wild out music.
