Just a quick collection of youtubed handcam footage from last night’s Goodie reunion. Hopefully some better quality clips will find their way online over the next few days. As expected, it looks like it was a pretty incredible show.
For those of you who missed this the full lineup will also be performing at the Cypress Hill curated Smokeout 2009 Festival. It boasts a pretty incredible lineup across the board: Cypress performing Black Sunday in its entirety, a fully reunited Geto Boys (which is odd considering Willie’s legal probelms), Meth & Red, Hieroglyphics and more. Cheech & Chong are hosting (!) and there’s a second day with Bad Brains a bunch of janky nu-metal type shit.

the show was amazing.. one of the best concerts ive ever been to.. might have been the best show i have ever seen..acoustics were a lot better than represented on these youtube clips..

Decent show, but still doesn’t top seeing them at the AUC in fall of 1995 right before Soul Food dropped and hearing Cell Therapy with Dre (who had just taken to wearing his turban thingie) for the first time. Then someone threw a water bottle and hit T-Mo in the head and Cee Low jumped into the crowd and fucked up his arm. Classic times.

Love it, but I wish this was easier to find. Took me like 35 minutes to find on Altavista – otherwise, top notch!
