Dead Rap Magazines Get Better Promotion

Complex.com is running a gigantic retrospective on dead rap magazines. Many of these were my rap blogs growing up. I can only hope that when I am dead my many years of hard work with this blog will be memorialized in a snarky hundred word post on a blindingly fashionable hypercolor website.
Notable omissions off the top: Life Sucks Die, Big Daddy, In Search Of Divine Styler and Murder Dog (who still publish but are dead to me after they took my subscription money and only sent a single issue).

I didn’t see Stress on the Complex list, either. One of my favorites.

Stress is on there.

They mentioned Big Daddy in another post, but then didn’t list. Possible some mad genius is doing a 10 print run in a basement somewhere still?

In Search of Divine Styler was operated by my man Ryan Somers, aka Fritz Tha Cat of the rap group OK Cobra. They’re from Toronto which is where I live. That magazine was crazy. He’s been rapping for a long time, new album on the way. I was in a music video for a song he recently did.

Please Noz, by the time you die, the internet will be obsolete….. Just look at twitter no one expected that.
There is a 5 year old kid out there that’s going to change the world and turn the internet into 8-track status

“Please Noz, by the time you die, the internet will be obsolete”
You vastly overestimate my projected lifespan.

Got new issue of Murder Dog in mail today. Random much. A Baltimore issue still doesnt make up for the Sri-Lanka one
