I read a comment the other day that got me confused:
“Z-Ro Trae And a number of Screwed Up Click members really don’t get the respect that they are owed. Even at this point in his career Z-Ro still makes great music, but I personally feel in my opinion that his earlier work (dated back in 1989 when he blessed the SPC Killa Klan and Street Military albums) was more raw and uncut. You all are just now being exposed to the music that we as young Texas Boys came up on, That we listened to as kids. If these music critics gave an accurate account of the music in truth Z-Ro’s first appearances were in the late 80’s.I read somewhere that his first works were in 1998, by then the man had an arsenal of club bangers considered to us now as CLASSIC.”
Do you know which recordings/ albums this guy is thinking of?

i also gotz a prefernce fo de earlier cuts but love de new stuff mo den any otha artist mayn. i wuddint call any uv de 98 Ro i’ve heard “club bangers” at all doe.
if he wuz droppin verses in de late 80’s, shit mayn doze muss be dam near impossible ta find. maybe Noz can dig dem up wun day mayn

I agree, Z-Ro is aging like some barrel of malt, but it would be sweet to hear that 89-98 arsenal, bangers or not…
The guy seems pretty sure of his thing and even if he might be clownin on some ignorant fool its not impossible that there is a lot of recordings before 98. I dont find him on the earlier albums of the groups dude mensions though. Going to ask QDawg at Deadly Grounds…

Psychiatric center? Lexapro? Wow, I never knew that Z-Ro suffered from clinical depression.
