C Kane

C. Kane featuring 2 Sins & Low Life – “Show No Mercy (Edit)”
C. Kane – “Dead In Tha Hood“
from Show No Mercy Cassette (C. Kane Music, 1996)
Yeah I don’t know what’s up with this tape. Blurred Photocopied artwork. No details other than artist name and year. Anyone know this shit? I think it might be some midwest shit and I only say that because the dude who owned this before me dubbed over the a-side with two early kid rock songs (thanks! now i’ll never know what “Evil Kant Die” sounds like). The two tracks that didn’t get lost kinda bang though inna dark style.

Sounds like it has that sample from Growing up in the Hood by CMW in the background, it’s hard to hear on my shitty labtec speakers.

Not sure about C. Kane, but I think 2 Sins is/was a group out of Detroit, see if you agree:

It would make the Kid Rock dub-over make some more sense

yeah what’s the word on that? has it been confirmed yet? that’d be quite the lineup if they did pull MOP, mobb deep and kane…

MOP and Mobb Deep are official since they showed up in that new Olivia video (wonder what Prodigy and Havoc are gonna do about 50’s beef with Nas, I saw Nas here in Chi-town a couple weeks ago and he promised heads he was working on a diss track) and if you believe what Kokane and allhiphop.com say, Kane is getting signed as we speak:

I heard something about Lil’ Scrappy too, anyone up on that?
