haha. yo have you heard the common demo tape or the Paul’s Boutique demo tape? it’s floating around the internet. It seemed like something you’d probaby be interested in, unless you’ve already heard it.
At least Jay Elect is doing Nas better than Nas is. I agree that he’s got some original sh*t and doesn’t need to lean on Nas’ style so much..but still..that counts for something.
I wasn’t aware that Mr. Electronica was really moving any units like that, that Nas would feel compelled to “absorb the derivative.” Like how do these record-less rappers make money, do people go to concerts in backpacker clubs to see the blog-hyped, album-less (and emotionless) Jay Electronica? I don’t get it.

Actually on ‘Queens get the money’ and ‘N***** hatred’ Nas is doing a good Nas-as-Jay Electronica-doing Nas. Smart move. Absorb the derivative.
