Somethin’ Serious

Attitude – “Playa Named Attitude

Attitude – “Serious Times

Attitude – “Chronicles Of A Madman

from Serious Times (Chip, 1997)

The late night posting spree continues. Here are a few underground tracks from another Beat Camp refugee, Alabama’s Attitude. I recently stumbled over this album in blog land and it is way better than it has any business being. Completely smoothed out down south funk moves. Attitude is currently signed to Warner, if his myspace is to believed. And, unlike, Six Deuce, Timbo gave this dude his new number. He’s turned up on a handful of pop-era Mosely tracks. Anyone want to check and see if he spits a sixteen on the new Chris Cornell?

All three of those songs are great. Why do you say it’s better than it has any business being? He’s a pretty solid rapper.
