The speed at which news moves through the blogosphere is absolutely mind boggling. Saw this first on Unkut, then Nahright, now here. Just goes to show how big of a deal this joint is. Thats what I like about Cocaine Blunts. I enjoy the mix of rare posts about rappers I never heard of who apparently ruled New Orleans back in the day and the more up-to-date stuff. Its good to know that you aren’t completely jaded Nos and can recognize when a big deal is a big deal.

Don’t be a stranger. Nice nice nice. It’s nice to hear all the different versions in one place. Not feeling Plug 1′s verse as much as everyone else on the original post though. Meh.

Didn’t like the beat at all, but Plug 1 ripped it, he was clearly the most talented on the track.
July 30th, 2008 at 6:37 pm
Well he was the most talented in the crew.

I imagine you’ve already seen this, but here’s Bun B’s first ever song with DJ Premier. It’s actually really great if you can get past the unfortunate Termanology verses.

The beat is cool, but the lyrical talent is pushing the envelope! Good looking out playa.
