It didn't really stack up to something like Comin Out Hard or Ice Cream Man (a slept on classic) for me, Pimp C's rapping was pretty shaky at times (which is always the case, but back then he was rawer than raw, and kind of derivative as well), the music was this uncomfortable smoothed-out melange of blues and easy listening vibes and really awful and pointless singing (at least Mo B. Dick was funny), and Bun was... good, but not the monster he was on other people's records. To me they're a lot like in-their-prime Mobb Deep - except if you divided everyone's respective talents by three.
